Valpolicella, Malbec & Rhone Collection

Rhone (Style)

Just as in the Rhône, I started with Old Vine Carignan from Lodi, California, and combined it with Syrah grapes from the Shenandoah Valley, straddling Amador and El Dorado counties.

But here’s the secret to Rhône wines: a touch of Viognier. Adding just 3% of this white wine brings a unique smoothness and elegance, making this blend a true homage to the Rhône style.

Sit back with some dark chocolate, sip, and savor to your heart’s content. If “smooth” is what you’re after, this wine is literally made for you.

Enchanté!

Malbec-Merlot Cuvee’

This full-bodied, muscular red wine offers a rich and complex experience. The Malbec

provides robust structure and dark fruit flavors, while the Merlot from the Russian River area of Sonoma adds soft, velvety tannins and layers of spice and leather.

Expect a symphony of dark fruit, including blackberry and plum, accented by hints of spice and leather. The finish is long and luxurious, with lingering notes of velvety chocolate and dark fruit.

This is a must try wine! No additive, healthy red wine to enjoy with a beautifully marbled Rib Eye or a savory  Rigatoni alla Bolognese!

Valpolicella

Valpolicella is a medium-bodied red with bright cherry and red berry flavors, accented by subtle herbal notes.

It’s well-balanced acidity and smooth finish, makes it perfect for both sipping and pairing with meals like pizza, pasta and grilled vegetables.

The grapes are grown in the Valpolicella region near Verona, Italy. The 3 grapes that make this wine are Corvina, which provides acidity, color, and structure, with additional contributions from the Rondinella and Molinara grapes for enhanced fruit character and the very subtle elegant herbal notes that reveal with time in the bottle.
