“My husband and I love fine wine, but at $10-$15 a bottle it was an occasional indulgence. Top quality wines from Vintages cost half that, and Lino knows just what we like the most.”
-- Kristi Dowers, DVM, Faculty, Colorado State University
“Vintages has always provided us with quality, great tasting wines at very reasonable prices. Many of the wines we bottle at Vintages rival expensive reserve wines in flavor. If you love great wine at a good value, try out a wine tasting at Vintages and you will undoubtedly become a repeat customer as we have!”
-- Ethan & Suzie Gannett
“Because of the interest generated by our wedding, couples who have been at our wedding have used Vintages for their wedding.”
-- Patti Watkins, Bedford Watkins Group (Architects), Fort Collins, CO
“Bottling the wine was something fun to do together, before the hustle of our wedding ... We loved bottling wine at Vintages so much, we’ve been back to make Christmas gifts and we’ll be back for more!”
-- Michele & Jeff Heaton, Owners, Stoney Ridge Tile
“We wanted to add our personal touch throughout the wedding. The experience was relaxing and fun from wine tasting to bottling to label creations to sharing with our families and friends. The best part was bottling the wine with the atmosphere so festive. We were excited for our upcoming nuptials and we were able to extend that celebration to include the before-the-wedding bottling. By getting creative with the labels, we gave people a unique viewpoint into our lives together. We wanted people to have something to take home that they could enjoy that was uniquely us.”
-- Brad Modesitt, Owner, Mountain Whitewater Descents
“Bottling our own wine at Vintages has added another layer of fun. We usually bottle with friends to share the experience. Corking and foiling gives us a sense of ownership and pride that a store-bought bottle can’t give. We create our own labels to add funny and distinguished names that grace our bottles to remind us of the time of year or a close event like our “Merry Merlot” in winter or our ‘Summer’s Day Viognier’. Whether it’s ‘snob appeal’ or not it’s always nice to open a bottle of wine with our own name on it.”
-- Erik Meakins
“A couple friends came to Vintages with us to help bottle (and taste, of course!). We had a blast together and could see another bottling group making a day of it too.”
-- Koreen Zelasco, Biologist, Colorado State University
“When we first saw your product at a wedding, we were impressed. And we like the taste of your wine and knew we wanted to do a batch for our own enjoyment. But when we went to bottle the wine, what a great time we had, and just kept coming back for more wine and fun! The hospitality is also important, and you have it at Vintages.”
-- Patricia Kuhn, St. Vrain Valley School District Dispatcher
“A peace of mind that you will get fabulous wine at a reasonable price, you won’t have a headache in the morning, and you can individualize it for your special day as a keepsake as well ... We love the quality of Vintages’ wine and we wanted to show our guests how special they are to us by being a part of the preparation process ... and you can’t get the same quality for the price anywhere!”

And the following is a testimony we recently discovered from Joel T. -- a local patron who posted the following comments about us on the web at Yelp.com ...
"We recently attending a wine tasting at Vintages. I was not aware that a winery existed in Fort Collins and the concept seemed a little odd to me until we arrived. Basically Vintages is a small batch winery located in the heart of old town Fort Collins. They have been open for about ten years and they specialize in people coming in and handcrafting their own wine which they then make in house.
The way the whole process works is that you come in and have a wine tasting with one of their fantastically knowledgeable winemakers. They run through a huge gambit of wine varieties from all over the world in an effort to teach you about wine and hone you taste to what you prefer. After that there is no obligation but you can order a case of wine and have it made there for you. Once you wine is ready, you come back in to bottle, label and cork your wine.
The wine is priced by the case, and is very cheap when compared to buying commercial wine. The wines we tasted were fantastic and the option of making your own is fun and also cost effective.
I would definitely recommend this as a fun date or for anyone who wants to learn more about wine. It is also perfect for those more knowledgeable in wine and looking to stock their personal cellar or give out their own wine as a fun gift.
The service was excellent and the winery itself was charming for just being in a strip mall setting. The owner even gave the person in our group six free bottles of wine for just bringing her friends in. It was an excellent experience overall."
