What is Vintages' Handcrafted Wines?
Vintages is a unique wine-making service. We do NOT mass produce wines for commercial sale. Instead, we sell wine grapes ... and make wines from these grapes for all of your dinners and private gatherings ... at unbeatable savings. Even more, this wine is tailored for your exact taste preferences.
How do you customize wine to a customer's exact taste preferences?
We host a very personalized wine tasting event for you. (If you want to bring a small party then we can even arrange a private little "wine tasting party" for you, if you like). Of course, we provide the wines and cheeses.
And what’s more, you’ll receive a personal wine consultation, to help you discover the flavors you most enjoy. (For those who love getting into “details,” we can discuss how to match wines with entrees that you savor on a regular basis.)
This one-on-one consultation allows us to develop a very specific taste profile for an individual. It shows us what kind of wine you like ... and how we can blend differeing wines in order to perfectly match your particular palate.
Then we'll create wine tailor-made for your preferences. In essence, you’ll enjoy wines made exclusively for you ... instead of having someone simply tell you what’s available in a commercial store.
Can I buy wine immediately at your store?
No, you actually buy grapes and/or juice from us and we ferment them here at Vintages'. Every full batch of wine acquired from us is formulated to your taste preferences for the particular variety you've chosen to ferment.
Can you quickly explain the wine-making process?
After placing an order with us, your grape selection will be fermented in 30 to 50 gallons. This will yield at least 24 bottles per batch when it's ready. This takes between 6 to 16 weeks. (We can sometimes offer batches in a shorter time frame).
After fermentation, you can come into our Micro Winery (often with friends and family members) to bottle, cork, and label the wines designed especially for your individual tastes. Of course, many customers bring hors d’oeuvres to enjoy while “sampling” their new wine.
Vintages’ clients love the bottling process. You’re really going to enjoy this unique, personal experience. (Even kids have fun using the pneumatic bottle-corker to tightly seal each bottle).
Many folks bottling at Vintages love this experience so much they end up making wines several times a year ... for all their occasions. This lets them build a private wine cellar ... filled to the brim with selective varieties of fine wines. They enjoy their all-natural, top-shelf wines all year long, without paying thousands of dollars for the privilege!
And best of all ... we do the work; you do the fun part!
Other than customized taste, are there any other advantages to making my wines using Vintages' Handcrafted Wines?
Yes, absolutely. You'll be enjoying natural, premier fine wines -- using many of the methods from old-school wine-cellar masters.
You may already know that most commercial wines (including expensive Californians and Europeans) contain various chemical stabilizers. These are added to keep them from spoiling during transit to other states.
Chemical preservatives are also used to cover up extreme temperature variations and other “mishandlings” in transit. These things dramatically affect taste-quality -- often leaving wines with bitterness and unpleasant after-tastes. Some additives can also cause headaches and allergies in certain folks.
Great-tasting wine should be a natural, delicate product. It needs to be stored properly ... in right conditions ... at certain temperatures. And you can ferment and bottle this sort of wine with us.
Is there any cost benefit with Vintages' Handcrafted Wines?
Yes. One additional benefit to making wines with us is affordability. All-natural, first-rate wines (ones carefully shipped and handled properly using cool, controlled environments) are extremely high-priced in commercial stores ... and unaffordable ($40-$50 per bottle on up) for many people. Even those who can afford it end up paying much more than they need to.
In short, commercial wines almost do have to be expensive in order to be excellent. For these wines to retain their all-natural flavors, and survive the commercial handling and distribution process, they’re usually expensive in order to be profitable for sellers.
Here at Vintages,' however, affordable excellence is made possible because we make your wines locally ... using grapes brought in from all over the world. This lets you to enjoy custom-made, premium wines at 40% to 65% savings.
What if someone asked you to guess how much a wine-making service would charge to help clients discover which wines they love ... show them which grapes they need to make these wines ... and then make these specifically chosen wines for them (especially suited for an individual’s taste preferences) ... using wine-grapes shipped from exotic vineyards around the world and stored at the wine-makers facility?

We sure do. After your wine is bottled and corked, you can share a special message for family and friends through your own, one-of-a-kind, personally designed label. You can even send us a special, favorite picture to place on your labels and tell us what message you want to appear on every label with this photo.
Do you offer some kind of "guarantee" for the wine(s) that I make thru Vintages?
Yes ... you will have a Vintages’ Wine Guarantee that is unmatched by any other retail wine establishment!
